VANITY GROUP ACHIEVES CARBON NEUTRAL STATUS
Global hotel essentials provider VANITY GROUP is proud to announce that it is now officially a carbon neutral company – the only guest essentials supplier to hold this certification. This status encompasses VANITY GROUP’s operations and our products. It has been certified by the Carbon Neutral Institute’s NoCO2 program which comprehensively audits businesses and assists in implementing best practices for a low or carbon neutral status.
To achieve this certification, VANITY GROUP was extensively audited in a process that included:
- Carbon Footprint Assessment: VANITY GROUP commissioned a NoCO2 audit to measure their operational carbon footprint for the fiscal year of 2023. This audit adhered to standards outlined by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, as well as the international standard ISO 14064.1.
- Emission Offsetting: To address unavoidable emissions, VANITY GROUP has committed to offsetting them by purchasing units in approved projects under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS).
- Ongoing Commitment: VANITY GROUP has pledged to conduct annual audits of their emissions to maintain transparency and ensure continuous adherence to carbon-neutral standards.
The NoCO2 certification further strengthens VANITY GROUP’s Mindful Beauty Project – their commitment to creating a more sustainable future for the planet, its people, and inhabitants.
Paul Tsalikis, Founder and Chairman of VANITY GROUP has said of the achievement: “Our carbon neutral status cements VANITY GROUP as the most sustainable choice for hotels.
