Our Story
Before VANITY GROUP the very mention of “hotel amenities” evoked images of the tiny bottles and single-use shower caps that adorn the laminate bathroom benchtops of every motel 6.
Our founder, Paul Tsalikis, saw an opportunity. His observation was simple – “why don’t great luxury hotels join forces with luxurious designer brands?”
We are a company dedicated to elevating hotel amenities from essential items to an experience that rivals even the sweetest suite. Now guests that treat themselves to a high-end room (from honeymooners to holidayers and high-flyers) are treated to premium, designer amenities that reflect their luxurious surroundings and selective tastes.
In time, VANITY GROUP has grown to be a creative services company that activates brands in hotels all over the world. And not just any brands, we represent some of the most respected retail brands in the industry including Karl Lagerfeld, Antipodes, Balmain Paris Hair Couture and Kevin Murphy.
We are a creative hub of innovative design, development, manufacturing and marketing. It is the seed from which beautiful and bespoke beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands grow.

Paul Tsalikis founded Valitel Commercial Valet Services - Servicing Australia's leading hotels.
1998
Valitel Commercial Linen Services establishes with 300 staff across Australia.
1999
Beauty Room Darlinghurst Skin Clinic opened
2009
Beauty Room Mosman Day Spa opened
2011
VANITY GROUP founded by CEO Paul Tsalikis.
First brand APPELLES Apothecary & Lab launches.
