Urban Apothecary Locks Fragrance In Time With VANITY GROUP
London-born home fragrance alchemists, Urban Apothecary, is introducing a Hotel Collection inspired by their signature fragrances.

Urban Apothecary is fuelled by a passion for fragrances inspired by recollections of the past, dressing urban environments with scents that lock moments in time. These memories are representation of spaces where fragrance holds the key to recollecting and reflecting again and again, Urban Apothecary fragrances aims to be the key in unlocking memories bound by time.
Bringing elegant fragrances to the world, Urban Apothecary is introducing a hotel collection is distributed exclusively via VANITY GROUP, home to a designer playground of luxury guest amenities, and will debut as part of VANITY GROUP’s stand at this year’s Independent Hotel Show.
In alignment with Urban Apothecary’s sustainability mission, the Urban Apothecary Hotel Collection is made from OceanBound Material and contains luxurious PETA Certified and Vegan Trademarked formulations.
Fragrance Inspired By Memories
The inaugural range is inspired by two of Urban Apothecary’s most loved fragrances:
- Smoked Leather: Meditative and calming, this fragrance transports you to a chesterfield armchair with the scent of wood smoke drifting from the fireplace. Aromas of antique leather, soft suede and saffron combine in the softest of whispers, encouraging olibanum’s resinous pitches to climb in smoky incense spirals.
- Fig Tree: Fresh and reviving. At first the green and crisp scent of fan-shaped fig leaves from treetop canopy rises. Next the senses are drawn down through nuances of milky coconut and fruity-floral violet, the scented impression of fig’s luscious purple fruit. Finally, cedarwood imagines the scent of tree bark, while powdery orris provides the earthiness from which this figgy fragrance grows.
Both collections showcase Urban Apothecary Founder, Tajinder Banwait’s exceptional nose and ability to pair unusual botanicals for unique fragrance journeys. The unconventional scents are Banwait’s way of encapsulating life’s moments and travel experiences. Hotels globally will have the opportunity to share these fragrances with their guests, opening the scents to being a part of future memory making.

The Urban Apothecary Hotel Collection is available exclusively via VANITY GROUP and features Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand and Body Wash, Body Lotion and triple milled soap available in sustainable and eco-friendly packaging. Sizes include 30ml tubes, 400ml refillable bottles and 380ml non-refillable floating bottles.
