Why did you create Antipodes?
It started with a need. I was searching fora natural moisturiser that was as hydrating for my dry skin as the conventional brands I was using. When I couldn’t find one, that’s when Antipodes was born. With a background in science, naturopathy and innovation, I set out to create a beauty brand grounded in plant-based ingredients and proven to deliver results.
The brand beautifully marries nature with science. What’s the process behind striking the perfect combination?
For the Antipodes hotel collection, the focus is on creating formulations that elevate everyday routines. Inspired by New Zealand’s rich natural environment, the collection combines carefully selected natural ingredients with considered formulation techniques to create products that perform beautifully and feel luxurious. Each product is designed to leave skin and hair feeling refreshed and cared for during travel.

Thank you! Our fragrances are inspired by the richness and diversity of nature. From notes of feijoa, blackcurrant and kiwi fruit to floral and warm botanical accords, each scent is designed to enhance the experience of use and bring a subtle sense of indulgence to everyday moments.
How do you want a traveller to feel when they spot the Antipodes Hotel Collection in their bathroom?
We want it to feel like a moment of care within the journey. Travel can be demanding, so the Antipodes amenities range has been specially created to refresh and look after the skin, scalp and hair, while offering an indulgent experience through texture and fragrance. What’s your carry-on skincare essential?
I’m never without Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream. Its compact size makes it ideal for travel, and it’s a great way to rehydrate the delicate eye area on long-haul flights. I apply a small amount and gently pat it into the skin. It feels cooling and soothing – we call it our “little pot of perfection”, and it remains one of our global bestsellers.
